As an AML Officer at Lysa, you'll work with financial crime prevention in a fast-growing fintech company operating across multiple markets. You'll be part of an entrepreneurial environment where quality, sound reasoning and well-documented decisions are valued - and where AML plays a central role in how the business operates.

Key Responsibilities

As an AML Officer here at Lysa you'll work broadly across our AML workflows as part of a collaborative and experienced team that values discussions, sound judgement and shared responsibility. Your day-to-day work includes investigating transaction monitoring alerts, conducting enhanced customer due diligence (CDD/EDD), and handling sanctions and PEP assessments. While owning your cases end-to-end - from analysis and decision-making to clear documentation.

You'll also collaborate closely with colleagues across the company, including Customer Relations, and take part in ongoing development of our AML processes. This includes improving routines, discussing risk levels as a team, and exploring how technology - including AI - can be used to support quality and efficiency without replacing human judgment.

Who you are

We believe that you thrive in a collaborative AML environment where cases are discussed openly and decisions are shaped through shared judgment. You're comfortable taking ownership of your work, leading your cases independently and navigating risk and ambiguity with confidence. You value trust and autonomy, are willing to roll up your sleeves when needed, and understand the importance of clear, well reasoned documentation in high quality AML work.

• 1-2 years of experience from insurance company, bank or fintech.

• Professional experience working in a regulated environment with structured analysis and documentation.

• Relevant post-secondary education in economics, law or other relevant field.

• Excellent communicator in Swedish (fluent) and English (fluent).

• An interest in financial crime prevention and a motivation to contribute to a trustworthy financial system.

• Interest in technology and process development, including how tools such as AI can support investigative work.
